What is the capacity?

Is JOJO wheelchair accessible?

JOJO is wheelchair accessible but it is to be noted that you have to come onto the venue via a jetty.

Can we BYO alcohol and food?

If there is something specific that you would like at your event that isn’t included in the drinks packages, please let us know and we will work with our suppliers to source it for you. Please talk to the team to discuss any food queries.

Can we bring our own decorations?

Being on the Swan River, there are some decorations that are not allowed on our venue to preserve the marine life surrounding the venue. This includes the following:

  • Glitter
  • Confetti (paper/rice etc)
  • Paper lanterns
  • Bubbles
  • Fireworks
  • Indoor sparklers

Can we have live music?

Of course, you can have a live band/ DJ. Please ask them to contact us directly to ensure we can provide the right power etc. for them.

Can we smoke?

Due to the venue being on the river, JOJO is a non-smoking venue. If your guests would like to smoke they will need to go to the carpark at the end of the jetty.

What is extra?

The following services are on offer with a additional fee:

  • Set up of the room (including our team laying tables, ensuring all cutlery and glassware are straight and neat, liaising with suppliers, etc). You could also ask your caterer how much it would be for them to provide staff to lay your tables if you would prefer.
  • Alternative crockery, glassware, tables or chairs.
  • Hired decorations from JOJO

We have a couple of excellent hire companies that we have worked with and trust that they will have anything that you need.

IS CLEANING INCLUDED?

Standard commercial cleaning is included in the hire price. There will be an extra charge for any additional cleaning required.

Bump in/out times

  • Weekday events: We will coordinate with you for bump in/out timings.
  • Friday events: Bump in on Thursday between 9am-4pm (Depending on availability). Bump out between 6:30am-8am on Saturday if you cannot do so after the event finishes.
  • Saturday events: Bump in from 9am on Saturday morning Bump out between 7am-10am on Sunday morning.
  • Sunday events: Bump in from 11am on Sunday Bump out between 9am-12pm on Monday morning

Please ensure you discuss the timings with the event team to ensure a member of staff is available to open the venue to facilitate the bump in/out.
